Youth Injured in BSF Firing at Kailashahar’s Maguruli Village; Tension Grips Area
NEBT News Desk, Kailashahar, 19th September: A fresh controversy has erupted in Kailashahar after a youth was injured in firing allegedly by BSF personnel on Friday morning. The incident occurred around 7 AM at Ward No. 3 of Maguruli Gram Panchayat. According to family members, BSF jawans allegedly entered their residence and engaged in a heated altercation. During the scuffle, a shot was fired, leaving a youth injured. The injured has been identified as Nurul Islam, a resident of Ward No. 3, Maguruli Gram Panchayat. He was rushed to Kailashahar District Hospital, but doctors, citing his critical condition, referred him to an out-of-state hospital for advanced treatment. The incident triggered widespread tension in the locality, with villagers expressing anger and resentment over the role of the BSF.
