Youth and Women’s Wing Submit Deputation Demanding Action Against Madhabi Biswas for Defamatory Posts

Agartala: Members of the Youth Morcha and Mahila Morcha from No. 9 Banamalipur organized a deputation at East Agartala Police Station, demanding strict legal action against Madhabi Biswas. The protest came after Biswas allegedly made defamatory remarks on social media against former Chief Minister and current MP Biplab Kumar Deb, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and the Mayor. The delegation urged the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of the police station to immediately arrest Madhabi Biswas and initiate legal proceedings against her for spreading malicious content online.
