Women’s Economic Empowerment Transforming Tripura: CM Saha

Agartala: Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha on Monday emphasized that the state government has been giving top priority to the socio-economic upliftment of women through various progressive schemes. As a result, lakhs of women in Tripura have emerged as “Lakhpati Didis,” reflecting the collective effort, hard work, and strong determination of the people and the government. Speaking at a meeting organized by the Mahila Morcha of the Bardowali Mandal at Muktadhara Auditorium, the Chief Minister highlighted the state’s commitment to strengthening women’s self-reliance, empowerment, and leadership. Dr. Saha stated that these three pillars—self-reliance, empowerment, and leadership—will pave the way for creating a new history of progress in Tripura. He appreciated the remarkable achievements of women across the state and reiterated the government’s continued efforts to support and encourage women in all sectors.
