Wireless Phones Distributed Among Police to Strengthen Communication in North District NEBT News Desk Agartala, 10th September In a significant move to strengthen communication systems, wireless phones were distributed among police personnel in North Tripura district under the joint initiative of the North District Magistrate and the Superintendent of Police. The distribution program was launched on Wednesday evening through the Dharmanagar Police Station, in the presence of North District Magistrate Chandni Chandran and Superintendent of Police Abhinash Rai. Speaking on the occasion, both officials emphasized that police personnel often face communication barriers, which hamper smooth operations and timely investigations. With the introduction of wireless phones, communication among police officers will be more efficient, especially during emergencies and disaster situations. The new system is expected to help police coordinate better, ensure uninterrupted communication among colleagues and superiors, and ultimately enhance law enforcement efficiency. Officials expressed confidence that improved communication will not only streamline police duties but also prevent criminals and anti-social elements from exploiting lapses caused by connectivity issues. The District Magistrate and Superintendent of Police further stated that this initiative would expand the scope of police operations and make their work more effective in the coming days.
