Venomous Snake Rescued from Residential Area in Teliamura

Teliamura, Oct 10 — Panic gripped the residents of Karoilong Shantipara area under the jurisdiction of the Teliamura Forest Department after a large black snake was spotted near a local canal. Upon receiving information from local residents, forest officials quickly arrived at the scene. With the help of the villagers, the team successfully rescued the snake. However, forest officials could not immediately confirm the species of the snake. The rescued reptile was later taken away by the forest department for further identification and safe relocation.
