Unity Promo Fest-2025 to Be Held in Belonia for the First Time; Preparatory Meeting Conducted

Belonia, October 30: In a move to promote tourism and strengthen infrastructure across the state, several initiatives have been undertaken by the Tripura Tourism Department. The state’s tourism promotion efforts, including the “Tripura Tourism Promo Fest,” have significantly boosted tourist interest in recent years. Continuing this tradition, the Tourism Department is set to organize the ‘Unity Promo Fest-2025’ this year as well. For the first time, the event will also be held in Belonia, South Tripura district, as part of efforts to bring the festival to every corner of the state. The two-day promotional festival aims to highlight Tripura’s diverse tourism potential. Ahead of the event, a preparatory meeting was held today at the Belonia Dak Bungalow. The meeting was chaired by Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury and attended by Zilla Parishad Sabhadhipati, MLA Pramod Reang, MLA Swapna Majumder, along with the Tourism Secretary, Director, District Magistrate, Superintendent of Police, and other senior officials from various departments. Discussions during the meeting focused on ensuring smooth organization and active participation from all stakeholders to make the upcoming Unity Promo Fest a grand success.
