Tobacco-Free Youth Campaign 3.0 and Red Run Marathon Held in Agartala
Agartala, October 14: The West District Health Department organized the "Tobacco-Free Youth Campaign 3.0" and Red Run Marathon to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS and substance abuse among the youth. The rally was flagged off from the Umakanta Academy Ground in Agartala. Present at the event were West District Acting Sabhadhipati Bishwajit Shil, District Magistrate Vishal Kumar, Superintendent of Police (West) Namit Pathak, Traffic Police Superintendent, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of the West District Health Department, and several other officials. Students from various schools, organizations, and social groups participated enthusiastically in the marathon. The dignitaries highlighted that the main objective of this initiative is to protect young people from the grip of addiction and to encourage them to lead a healthy, drug-free life.
