TMC Demands Immediate Closure of Night Club Near Rabindra Bhavan
NEBT News Desk | Agartala | 8th September The Trinamool Congress (TMC) has strongly opposed the operation of a night club near Rabindra Bhavan. Addressing a press conference at the party office on Monday, State Youth TMC President Shantanu Saha demanded the immediate closure of the establishment. Saha alleged that the present government is attempting to destroy the cultural heritage of the state. He also questioned how a building constructed with the public’s money by Rose Valley was handed over on rent for a night club without returning the funds to the people. The TMC leader called upon both the Chief Minister and former Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb to intervene and take steps toward shutting down the night club. He further warned that if the government fails to act promptly, TMC will launch a larger movement against it.
