State-Level Grand Finale of ‘Red Ribbon Quiz Competition-2025’ Held in Agartala.

The state-level grand finale of the ‘Red Ribbon Quiz Competition-2025’ was held today at the Vivekananda Auditorium of Tripura Medical College & Dr. BRAM Teaching Hospital, Hapania. The event was organized by the Tripura State AIDS Control Society under the Health & Family Welfare Department. Inaugurating the programme, West District Sabhadhipati Biswajit Shil said that students can play a pivotal role in preventing HIV/AIDS through awareness. He praised the initiatives of Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha and also called for building a drug-free Tripura. The event was also addressed by Prof. (Dr.) Arindam Dutta, Principal of Tripura Medical College, Dr. Shouvik Debbarma, Joint Director (Health), Dr. Nirmal Sarkar, Joint Director (Family Welfare), and Dr. Binita Chakma, Project Director of Tripura State AIDS Control Society. Vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Shankhasubhra Debnath, Assistant Project Director of TSACS. In the grand finale, Adrija Nath and Anushka Rudrapal of PM Shri Dharmanagar Higher Secondary School emerged as champions. Ankita Debnath and Suparna Malakar of Class Twelve School, Fatikroy became the first runners-up, while Debangshu Deb and Atyushna Acharya of Ambassa English Medium Model School secured the second runners-up position. The winning team will represent Tripura at the Regional Level Red Ribbon Quiz Competition to be held in Sikkim on September 22. The champions were awarded a cheque of ₹15,000, the first runners-up ₹12,000, the second runners-up ₹10,000, and a consolation prize of ₹5,000 was also given.
