Sri Sri Ravi Shankar University to Come Up in Kamalasagar: 22.41 Acres of Land Registered

Agartala, October 8, 2025: In a major boost to Tripura’s higher education sector, 22.410 acres (equivalent to 56 kanis) of land in the Kamalasagar constituency have been officially registered today at the Bishalgarh Registry Office for the establishment of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar University, under The Art of Living Foundation. The registration was completed by Divya Kanchibotla, Trustee of Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir (SSRVM), The Art of Living, Bengaluru. Expressing her delight, the MLA of Kamalasagar constituency said, As the representative of Kamalasagar, I am extremely delighted. On behalf of all the residents of Kamalasagar constituency, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to our Hon’ble Chief Minister, Dr. Professor Manik Saha, for approving this prestigious university project.” Following the registration, the MLA visited Kasbeswari Mata Temple and offered prayers for the good health and long life of Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, whose leadership, she said, continues to steer Tripura toward educational and cultural progress. The upcoming Sri Sri Ravi Shankar University is expected to emerge as a hub of value-based higher education in the state, promoting the ideals of peace, spirituality, and holistic growth envisioned by Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.
