Skill Development Training Empowers Tribal Youths in Tripura
The Tribal Welfare Department of Tripura has launched fresh initiatives to empower tribal youths through skill development training. Training programs in machine operation and motor car driving have already been provided to new participants, with a vision to make tribal communities self-reliant. Minister for Tribal Welfare, Bikash Debbarma, inaugurated and attended as Chief Guest at the Machine Operator Assistant Plastic Processing Training Felicitation Programme held at Pragna Bhawan. On the occasion, 14 successful trainees of CIPET were felicitated for their achievements. Speaking at the event, Debbarma emphasized the importance of skill development for the progress of tribal youths. He highlighted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, several initiatives have been taken to uplift tribal communities. “Some of our boys and girls have already gone to Bengaluru and prepared themselves to become self-reliant. Our aim is to move the tribal people forward with education and skill development,” the Minister said, urging all tribal youths to actively come forward and take part in such programs. Officials from the department were also present at the programme, encouraging the successful trainees and motivating others to join future initiatives.
