Power Corporation Outsourcing Workers Stage Protest, Demand Job Regularization and Benefits

NEBT News Desk | Agartala | 8th September 2025 Outsourcing employees of the Power Corporation today staged a protest rally in Agartala, raising several long-pending demands. Their primary demands include job regularization, timely disbursement of monthly salaries, implementation of the equal pay law, provision of EPF and ESI benefits, medical leave, and necessary safety equipment. The protesting workers alleged that their legitimate demands have been ignored for a long time. They called upon the government and the concerned department to intervene immediately and resolve their grievances.
