Police Seize Large Quantity of Foreign Liquor in Khowai Raid

NEBT News Desk, Agartala, 13th September: In a joint operation, the Women’s Police Station and plainclothes police personnel seized a large quantity of foreign liquor from Gaurangtila area in Khowai today around noon. According to reports, acting on a tip-off, police conducted a raid at the residence of one Aman Debbarma. During the operation, 55 bottles of foreign liquor of various brands were recovered. Though the police were unable to apprehend Aman Debbarma, Women’s Police Station Officer-in-Charge Meena Debbarma confirmed that similar operations will continue in the coming days to curb illegal liquor trade in the region.
