Police Crack Down on Illegal Liquor Trade Ahead of Durga Puja, Three Arrested in East Agartala

Agartala, Sept 27: In a special anti-liquor drive conducted ahead of the Durga Puja festivities, East Agartala Police arrested three illegal foreign liquor traders today. Acting on secret information, the police launched raids at different locations on the route from Gulbazar towards Chandrapur, Aralia, and Pratapgarh. During the operation, three persons involved in illegal liquor trading were apprehended. Officer-in-Charge of East Police Station, Subrata Debnath, confirmed the arrests and stated that the campaign against illicit liquor would continue in the coming days to ensure peaceful and safe Puja celebrations.
