Pandit Deendayal’s Ideals Guiding Nation: CM CM Stresses Honesty, Inclusivity in Governance

Agartala, Sept 25: Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha today said that Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay was a keen politician, patriot, and visionary who always prioritized India’s culture, tradition, and people’s development. He added that both the country and the state are moving forward following the path shown by Pandit Deendayal. Speaking at a program organized on the occasion of the Birth Anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay at Muktadhara Auditorium, Agartala, Dr. Saha said, “Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay was a politician and patriot who sacrificed himself for the nation. The more one learns about him, the more one’s mind matures. India has had many great personalities like Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and Swami Vivekananda, who, despite passing away at a young age, left behind ideas that continue to inspire us.” The Chief Minister highlighted that Pandit Deendayal always emphasized honesty as a guiding principle. “We must move forward with honesty. He believed in friendship, inclusivity, and collective effort. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is carrying forward these very ideals by ensuring that the benefits of development projects reach the last person in society. This is the essence of Deendayal Ji’s vision,” he said. Dr. Saha pointed out that the state government has implemented two phases of good governance activities and launched the ‘Amar Sarkar’ web portal to address people’s daily issues. “This initiative is benefiting rural communities, exactly what Pandit Deendayal envisioned,” he added. Reaffirming the government’s commitment, Dr. Saha said, “We do what we promise, which strengthens public trust in us. Today, people have confidence in Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is taking the nation forward by following the thoughts of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay.” The event was attended by Rajya Sabha MP Rajib Bhattacharya, Paschim Tripura Sabhadhipati-in-Charge Biswajit Shil, ICA Secretary PK Chakraborty, Vice Chairman of the State-level Cultural Advisory Committee Subrata Chakraborty, ICA Director Bimbisar Bhattacharya, along with other dignitaries and officials.
