Agartala, October 18: In a significant boost to medical education and healthcare infrastructure in Tripura, the National Medical Commission (NMC) has approved four new Postgraduate (PG) seats for Agartala Government Medical College (AGMC) starting from the academic year 2025–26. According to the official notification, the NMC has sanctioned: 🎓 2 seats in MD Radio-Diagnosis 🎓 2 seats in MD Respiratory Medicine This addition marks a major step toward expanding advanced medical learning opportunities and improving specialized healthcare services in the state. Officials from the Health Department stated that the move will help address the growing demand for skilled specialists and strengthen the overall healthcare delivery system in Tripura.
