NCC Police Conduct Major Raid at Gowala Basti; 9 Arrested with Drugs and Liquor

NEBT News Desk, Agartala, 14th September 2025: Acting on a tip-off, NCC Police carried out a major raid at Gowala Basti under the jurisdiction of NCC Police Station. During the operation, police successfully apprehended nine individuals, including drug users and peddlers, along with the recovery of country liquor and cannabis. NCC Police Station Officer-in-Charge, Prajit Malakar, informed that the raid was part of the ongoing crackdown on illegal activities and substance abuse in the area.
