NEBT News Desk | Agartala | 7th September Mortal Remains of Kailashahar Youth Brought Back Home with State Support The coffin carrying the mortal remains of late Yadav Sutradhar, son of a poor family from Durgapur village in Kailashahar, reached his residence around 10 p.m. on Saturday. Kailashahar MLA Birajit Sinha was present at the house when the body arrived. Yadav Sutradhar, 40, who was working in Mumbai as a driver with a private company, suddenly suffered a stroke on 2nd September and passed away at Dr. R. N. Cooper Municipal General Hospital. Following his death, the bereaved family was left devastated and helpless. Family members approached MLA Birajit Sinha with a heartfelt appeal to help bring his body back home. Responding to their plea, the MLA took the matter to the Chief Minister, who promptly intervened. The Chief Minister ensured necessary arrangements, and the body was flown to Agartala on Saturday and later transported by road to his residence in Durgapur. The sight of the coffin overwhelmed the family members, who broke down in tears. Speaking to the media, MLA Birajit Sinha said, “This is a very difficult time for the family. I am grateful to the Chief Minister for extending his support in bringing back the mortal remains. My deepest condolences go out to the bereaved family.”
