MLA Files Case Over Death Threat at Agartala MLA Hostel

NEBT News Desk, Agartala, 2nd September A dramatic turn of events unfolded at the MLA Hostel in Agartala after Kanchanpur-Dasda constituency legislator Philip Kumar Reang filed a case at the NCC Police Station on Tuesday. Reang alleged that on Monday night, fellow legislator Pratik Debbarma along with three others, allegedly under the influence of alcohol, issued him death threats. Following the incident, the MLA lodged a formal complaint naming all four accused. Speaking to the media after filing the case, Reang confirmed that the threats were serious in nature and compelled him to approach the police immediately.
