Man Assaulted at Kaman Chowmuhani; One Arrested by Police

Agartala, Sept 30: In an incident that came to light after a video went viral on social media, a man was brutally assaulted at Kaman Chowmuhani area under East Agartala Police Station in the early hours of September 30. Following the circulation of the video, East Agartala police swiftly took action and detained a man identified as Titon Dasgupta in connection with the assault. A case has been registered against him at East Agartala Police Station. Police confirmed that the accused will be produced before the court today. Authorities also stated that further investigation is underway.
