The locals argued that Chandrapur Bazar is one of the major markets in the area, attracting heavy movement of people daily. They further pointed out that many students from nearby schools use this route regularly. According to them, installing a divider across the entire stretch of the road would cause significant inconvenience for both commuters and students, disrupting the smooth flow of movement. The protesters have urged the concerned authorities to reconsider the decision in the interest of the local community.
