Heavy Rainfall Warning Issued for Parts of Tripura

Agartala, Oct 2, 2025: The India Meteorological Department (IMD), Meteorological Centre Agartala, has issued a warning of heavy rainfall for several districts of Tripura on Friday. According to the bulletin, heavy rainfall (7–11 cm) is very likely at one or two places over West Tripura, Sepahijala, Gomati, and South Tripura districts. Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning are also expected at one or two places across all districts of the state. Weather Observations (Thursday, Agartala): Maximum Temperature: 29.8°C Minimum Temperature: 24.5°C Relative Humidity: 67% Rainfall: 12.4 mm (city), 6.8 mm (Shahar) Friday Forecast (Agartala & Neighborhood): The sky will remain generally cloudy with a few spells of light to moderate rain and thundershowers likely in some areas.
