Headline: Two Youths, Including a Minor, Detained with ₹7 Lakh Cash by Bishalgarh Police

News: Bishalgarh, November 3: Bishalgarh police detained two youths, including a minor, after intercepting a motorcycle (registration number TRA07H9462) on the Bishalgarh–Boxanagar road. During a routine traffic check, police recovered ₹7 lakh in cash from their possession. According to sources, the detained individuals failed to provide a satisfactory explanation regarding the large amount of money. One of the arrested youths has been identified as Rubel Hossain, a resident of Rahimpur under Boxanagar. Police suspect the cash may be linked to recent drug smuggling activities in the state, particularly in connection with narcotics entering Tripura through the Jirania–Wagner route. The detainees reportedly concealed the money around their waists and were allegedly heading toward the border area. Both individuals are currently in police custody at Bishalgarh Police Station, where further interrogation is underway. Police sources also hinted that efforts are being made to protect the identity of the minor involved in the case.
