News: Agartala, November 3: Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha stated that the government’s commitment to enhancing advanced healthcare services at Agartala Government Medical College (AGMC) and GBP Hospital has yielded significant results, with a notable reduction in patient referrals outside the state. The Chief Minister announced that the government plans to introduce four additional super-speciality services at the hospital to further strengthen healthcare delivery. Expressing satisfaction, Dr. Saha said he was proud of the doctors who are now successfully handling complex medical cases within the state, marking a new milestone in Tripura’s healthcare sector. To accelerate health infrastructure development, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stones for several new projects today and virtually inaugurated the Inter-Departmental Call Management System (IDCMS), aimed at improving coordination and efficiency in hospital operations.
