The week long Diamond Jubilee BSF Day Celebrations - 2025 culminated at BSF camp Salbagan on 03.12.2025 with the BSF Day Dinner at Tusker Officers’ Institute.   Shri Indra Sena Reddy Nallu, Hon’ble Governor of Tripura graced the BSF Day- 2025 Dinner as the Chief Guest. He was welcomed and felicitated by Shri Aloke Kumar Chakraborty IG BSF Tripura Frontier. Senior Officers from Administration, Police, and Central & State agencies also attended the celebration.                                   Hon’ble Governor complemented all members of the Seema Prahari Parivar on this historic occasion and expressed his confidence that the force will keep the flag flying further higher. He wished the very best to the Prahari Family. Referring to the glorious services, rendered to the nation by BSF the largest Border Guarding Force of the world over six decades, Hon’ble Governor lauded the courage, commitment and professionalism of BSF in the line of duty as the 1st Line of Defence’ of the nation. Besides reminding the gathering about the role played by BSF in Liberation of Bangladesh in 1971, 'Kargil' conflict and Operation 'Sindoor', he appreciated the service rendered by BSF even beyond the borders i.e Internal Security duties, combating insurgency in J&K, Punjab , North Eastern States, tackling the left wing extremism & ensuring safety and security of millions during special events like Amarnath Yatra , multi-national / global sporting events and multi – lateral summits like G-20 , CHOGM etc.          Hon’ble Governor also appreciated the critical role played by BSF in securing 856 km of Indo- Bangladesh border in Tripura across highly inhospitable terrain and adverse climatic conditions and in bringing tangible and holistic improvement in the border infrastructure and living conditions of border population. Recollecting the memoirs of his frequent visit to Border outposts, he apprised all about the role of troops under command Tripura Frontier in Community Welfare and improvement of Human Development index in border belt. He said that the border population briefed him about the extensive help and assistance extended to them by BSF and the familial relationship existing between the border population and the BSF.                                      Hon’ble Governor cautioned all the invitees and Seema Praharies about the emerging threats of Cyber, Space, Industrial , Communication warfare, drug trafficking and threat from drones and advised all concerned to prepare to tackle such threats effectively.
