NEBT News Desk | Agartala | 6th September East Police Station Nabs Gamblers, Arrests Notorious Thief in Separate Operations Acting on a tip-off, East Police Station carried out a special operation and detained eight gamblers from the Motor Stand area. In a separate late-night operation, police also arrested a notorious thief from the North Gate locality. The arrested thief was produced before the court, where police sought a three-day remand for further interrogation. Speaking on the matter, East Police Station OC Subrata Debnath said, “We are continuously working to keep criminal activities under control in the area. The crackdown against gambling will continue, and the remand of the arrested thief has been sought to extract more information.
