Durga Puja in Tribal Areas Growing Significantly: CM Manik Saha on Maha Saptami Visit
Agartala, Sept 30: On the auspicious occasion of Maha Saptami, Tripura Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha visited Durga Puja celebrations organized by tribal communities in the ADC areas of Takarjala and Jampui Jala. During his visit, the Chief Minister interacted with devotees and joined them in the festive spirit, appreciating the cultural richness and enthusiasm of the celebrations. Dr. Saha observed that compared to previous years, the number of Durga Pujas in tribal areas has grown significantly, showcasing the increasing participation and devotion of the community. Extending his heartfelt festive greetings, the Chief Minister said that such celebrations play a vital role in fostering harmony, brotherhood, and unity while preserving the cultural traditions of the state.
