Death due to Stroke in Mumbai, Chief Minister Extends Financial Assistance for Repatriation of Body

NEBT NEWS DESK, AGARTALA, 5th September: Yadav Sutradhar, a resident of Kailashahar Durgapur and son of Dhirendra Sutradhar, was working as a driver in Maharashtra’s Mumbai. On 3rd September, he suffered a stroke and passed away. When the matter was brought to the notice of Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha, he immediately instructed necessary steps to be taken. Following the Chief Minister’s directions, the State Secretariat contacted the Maharashtra Chief Minister’s Office and concerned officials. Additionally, to bring the mortal remains from Mumbai to Kailashahar, the Chief Minister sanctioned a financial grant of ₹1,20,000 from his Relief Fund. Through this initiative, the Chief Minister stood by the bereaved family, setting an example of humanity and compassion.
