CM Manik Saha Responds to TMC Delegation’s Visit to Agartala

Agartala, Oct 10: Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha reacted to the visit of a Trinamool Congress (TMC) delegation to Agartala, stating that while the team did not meet the Governor, they held discussions with the Secretary. “They did not meet the Governor, but they met the Secretary. If they want to come, they can… We gave them security,” said Dr. Saha. Referring to recent incidents of violence, the Chief Minister said, “Their people attacked BJP MP Khagen Murmu and BJP MLA Shankar Ghosh. They are now claiming those were not their people, and we condemn this.” Dr. Saha further added that the state government handled the entire situation “very nicely,” ensuring law and order was maintained throughout the visit.
