CM Manik Saha Inaugurates State-Level Drama Festival 2025 at Udaipur’s Rajarshi Kala Kshetra

Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha today inaugurated the State-Level Drama Festival 2025 at Rajarshi Kala Kshetra in Udaipur. The 15-day long cultural event, organized by the Department of Information & Cultural Affairs, features the participation of 33 theatre groups from across the state. Addressing the inaugural ceremony, the Chief Minister drew a parallel between theatre and society, stating that just as audiences judge how well an actor portrays the character entrusted to them, society also evaluates how responsibly individuals fulfil their duties. “If we carry out our responsibilities sincerely, we can together build a beautiful society,” he said. Expressing happiness over the initiative, CM Saha conveyed his best wishes for the grand success of the drama festival and appreciated the efforts of the participating theatre groups. The festival will continue for 15 days, showcasing diverse theatrical performances celebrating Tripura’s rich cultural heritage.
