CM Manik Saha Flags Off Relief Materials for Flood-Hit Himachal Pradesh

NEBT NEWS DESK, AGARTALA, 9th September 2025 Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha today flagged off vehicles carrying relief materials for the disaster-hit state of Himachal Pradesh. The relief consignment was arranged by the Pradesh BJP. Speaking at the flag-off ceremony, Dr. Saha said Himachal Pradesh has been severely affected by massive floods, which have claimed many lives. He noted that due to landslides, roads and bridges have been badly damaged and blocked, further worsening the situation. Recalling Tripura’s own experience of natural calamities last year, Dr. Saha said, “Tripura understands the suffering of people during such disasters. During our difficult times, many states extended helping hands to us, and now we are extending our helping hands to them.” Senior state BJP leaders were also present during the occasion.
