CM Dr. Manik Saha Reviews Final Phase of Tripurasundari Temple Development

NEBT News Desk | Agartala | 8th September 2025 The construction and beautification work at the revered Tripurasundari Temple, one of the 51 Shakti Peethas, has reached its final stage under the Central Government’s PRASAD (Pilgrimage Rejuvenation and Spiritual Augmentation Drive) scheme. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha today visited the temple premises at Matabari to review the progress of the ongoing development. During his visit, the Chief Minister also offered prayers and sought the blessings of Maa Tripurasundari. Officials informed him about the upgraded facilities and infrastructure being created to enrich the experience of pilgrims and visitors. The project, once completed, is expected to significantly boost religious tourism and further establish Matabari as one of the most prominent pilgrimage destinations in the region.
