CM Dr. Manik Saha Meets Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw; Discusses Key Railway & Digital Development Projects for Tripura

New Delhi, Oct 15: Tripura Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha met Hon’ble Union Cabinet Minister for Railways, Communications and Electronics & IT, Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw Ji, at Rail Bhawan, New Delhi, today. During the meeting, several key initiatives were discussed aimed at further strengthening the vision of “Viksit Tripura, Viksit Bharat” under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji. Some of the major proposals discussed included: 🚉 Introduction of the Vande Bharat Express between Agartala and Guwahati 🛤️ Doubling of railway tracks across strategic routes in Tripura 🚃 Operation of electric trains to enhance efficiency and sustainability 🚃 Upgraded coaches for long-distance routes and improvement of railway stations 🏢 Construction of a new building for TFTI (Tripura Film and Television Institute) and the development of a Film City 📞 Expansion of call centres to boost employment and digital connectivity 💻 Establishment of an enhanced Cyber Security Hub in the state Dr. Saha expressed gratitude to Shri Vaishnaw for his continued support toward Tripura’s infrastructural and digital advancement, reaffirming the state government’s commitment to fast-tracking development initiatives for the people of Tripura.
