CM and Union DoNER Minister Participate in Review Meeting on Matabari Tourist Circuit

Agartala, November 12: Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha today attended a review meeting with Union Minister for Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, to discuss the proposed Matabari Tourist Circuit project in detail. The circuit has been designed as a four-night, five-day tourism plan covering Agartala, Neermahal, Sepahijala, Udaipur, Chabimura, and Dumbur regions. It aims to present a holistic blend of Tripura’s natural beauty, cultural heritage, and spiritual significance. During the meeting, the Union DoNER Minister expressed a positive outlook toward the project and assured financial assistance for the development of various infrastructural components under the circuit. Once developed, the Matabari Tourist Circuit is expected to play a vital role in enhancing tourism infrastructure, generating local employment, and establishing Tripura as an integrated tourism destination in the North Eastern region.
