BSF Organises Civic Action Programme at Chillapathar High School

The 43 Battalion of the Border Security Force (BSF) conducted a Civic Action Programme on Saturday at Chillapathar High School, located under BOP Rajnagar in South Tripura District. The initiative aimed at strengthening community relations and supporting development in the border areas. The event was chaired by Shri Aloke Kumar Chakraborty, IG, BSF Tripura Frontier, in the presence of Shri M. Ravindar, Commandant, 43 Bn BSF, along with several civil dignitaries. The programme began with a vibrant cultural performance by students of Chillapathar High School, followed by Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya students. As part of its continuous efforts toward community welfare and skill development, BSF distributed 33 motorised sewing machines to women under the Skill Development Programme. Additionally, running shoes, track suits, and school bags were handed over to youths who had participated in the pre-recruitment training conducted by 43 Bn BSF. In a significant boost to digital learning, the BSF donated six computers with accessories to the basic computer training centre at IC Nagar HS School under its skill development initiative. Acknowledging the support of the local border population, IG Shri Aloke Kumar Chakraborty reaffirmed the BSF’s commitment to promoting infrastructure development, youth training, and skill enhancement for fostering self-reliance in border communities.
