Biplab Kumar Deb Targets West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee

Agartala, Tuesday: Former Chief Minister and Lok Sabha MP Biplab Kumar Deb made sharp remarks against West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, criticizing her governance style and political approach. Speaking to reporters, Deb said that Mamata Banerjee’s administration has failed to deliver on promises of development and peace in West Bengal. He added that the people of Bengal are increasingly realizing the difference between “appeasement politics” and “real development,” as seen in the BJP-led states. Deb further stated that the BJP’s organizational strength and public support in West Bengal are growing rapidly and expressed confidence that the party will soon emerge as a strong alternative in the state. He concluded by saying that Mamata Banerjee should focus on the welfare of the people instead of “spreading negativity against the Centre and other states.”
