Bangladeshi National Detained in Sabroom, Sparks Sensation in Border Town

Sabroom, Wednesday: Tension gripped the border town of Sabroom after a Bangladeshi national was detained this evening. The incident took place near the Loknath Temple area, where locals spotted a suspicious person and immediately informed the Sabroom Police Station. Acting swiftly, police personnel arrived at the scene and detained the man in front of the temple before bringing him to the station for questioning. According to Sabroom Police Sub-Inspector Arjun Chakma, the detained individual admitted that he is a resident of Chittagong, Bangladesh. Chakma further stated that the man was reportedly attempting to cross the border to return to Bangladesh. The individual is currently being held at the police station, and necessary legal procedures are underway.
