All Tripura Judo Association Holds Meeting to Finalize State Championship Schedule; 19 Players to Represent Tripura in Sub-Junior National Judo Championship

Agartala, November 11, 2025: A meeting was organized on Tuesday at the conference hall of the West Tripura Zilla Sabhadhipati’s office by the All Tripura Judo Association, which is affiliated with the Judo Federation of India, Tripura Sports Council, and Tripura Olympic Association. The meeting was attended by Antara Sarkar Dev, President of the All Tripura Judo Association, Biswajit Shil, Sabhadhipati of West Tripura Zilla Parishad, along with other dignitaries and members of the association. During the meeting, the schedule for the upcoming State-Level Judo Championship and Judo Belt Gradation Test 2025 was finalized. It was also announced that a 19-member team from Tripura will participate in the Sub-Junior National Judo Championship 2025–26, scheduled to be held in Hyderabad on November 12. On this occasion, team members were presented with their official jerseys. Additionally, it was decided that a state-level judo training and specialization program will be conducted in the coming days to further enhance the skills and preparedness of judo athletes across the state.
