AGMC & GBP Hospital Achieve Milestone with Successful Eighth and Ninth Kidney Transplants

Agartala, July 16: Agartala Government Medical College (AGMC) and GBP Hospital have achieved another significant milestone in the state’s healthcare sector with the successful completion of the eighth and ninth kidney transplant surgeries. Under the initiative of Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha and through the collective efforts of specialist doctors, the two kidney transplant procedures were successfully conducted completely free of cost over the past two days. The achievement marks a major step forward in ensuring advanced and compassionate healthcare services for the people of the state. It also reflects the state government's continued commitment to strengthening medical infrastructure and providing quality treatment facilities to patients within Tripura.
