Sonamura, Nov 9: In a major crackdown on illegal cultivation, authorities destroyed a total of 36 ganja (cannabis) plantations and 2 nurseries in the Sonamura area. The operation was carried out jointly by law enforcement and local administration teams as part of an ongoing drive against narcotics cultivation in the region. Officials confirmed that further investigations are underway to identify those involved in the illegal plantations.
